EMAIL ..Full Mailbox
Email server space is limited. Regardless of the mail box size, space will most likely became an issue.
Best Practices:
Routinely clear out no longer needed messages from inbox, sent, junk, trash and any another folder as viewed in webmail access.
Pull important information which you are likely to need later, out of email and place it in a well organized file system, with backup. The value of this practice may increase over time.
When longer archives are needed, consider setting up a client mail program on your main computer. For example, Thunderbird mail client setup with pop3 will archive old messages. Thunderbird should also be set to remove messages from mail server after a set number of days (30 to 60 days suggested). An imap setup will not help since it keeps a copy of all messages & folders on the mail server. As always, have an operating backup system for your computer.
Email & Information sent via email is often very important. Keeping it clean and well organized helps with productivity, now and later!
